Integrated in the logistics department in the Pamplona facilities, the Corporate Buyer Manager will report to the group headquarters in Germany and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Development and execution of a European wide CF purchasing strategy, tailored to the respective requirements of the locations and CoCs.
  • Analysis and optimization of the existing supplier base, identification and realization of synergies across the locations and CoCs.
  • Analysis of supply markets, identification of appropriate supply markets, identification and development of new suppliers.
  • Responsibility and negotiation of the company's contract landscape.
  • Supplier relationship management including supplier assessment and risk assessment as well as the derivation of appropriate measures in the context of supplier development.
  • Analysis and optimization of the cost structure for chemicals in commodity CF
  • Execution of special purchasing projects with a focus on cost savings based on negotiations, relocations and/or value analysis projects within the scope of CF.
  • Monitoring and proactive improvement of the supplier performance with a focus on delivery and quality performance
  • Claim management face to face with suppliers including the internal coordination of the requirements for successful processing.
  • Coordination of sourcing activities across locations in the scope of CF.
  • Functional lead of the location buyers in the scope of CF.

Requisitos:

We are looking for professionals who meet the following requirements:

  • Master degree of Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the area of chemicals sourcing ideally for friction materials.
  • At least 5-10 years of working experience in purchasing as well as technical competence.
  • Excellent written and spoken language skills (Spanish/English/Others).
  • Structured, target oriented and self-organized work style combined with the ability to work in a team.
  • Travel willingness.
